DESCRIPTION:Maker Camp is coming this summer! \nWe’re excited to launch this hands-on\, creative summer experience for kids ages 10 – 14. Campers will explore real tools and materials across our shop areas\, all while learning new skills\, building cool projects\, and having a great time with fellow young makers. Camps start the week of June 16 and run in weekly half-day sessions\, with two fun themes each week. \nRenaissance\nStep back in time and bring the past to life! \nCraft your own medieval currency \nBuild amazing projects — from traditional leatherwork to high-tech laser cut designs \nOn the final day\, join our Ren Faire\, where campers barter and trade their creations using the currency they made themselves! \nTabletop Gaming \nWork in small teams to create your own board game from scratch \nPrefer a classic? Rebuild a favorite public domain game with a unique twist \nMake your own game pieces\, boards\, and packaging \nFinish the week with a Game-a-thon — show off your game and play everyone else’s creations!
