George Washington Carver Museum

The George Washington Carver Museum, Cultural and Genealogy Center, located at 1165 Angelina Street in Austin, Texas, is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich history and culture of African Americans in Austin and beyond. Established in 1980, it stands as the first African American neighborhood museum in Texas.
