❄️ SNOW DAY IS THIS SATURDAY ❄️

☃️ Frosty Fun Fest at @sciencemilltx is this Saturday, January 18 from 10am-2pm!

Science Mill is a kids’ science museum in Johnson City filled with indoor and outdoor hands-on and interactive exhibits. We have brought our kids here many times over the years at varying ages and they always have a good time, however I feel like kids ages 5+ will get the most out of the museum. Kids of all ages like snow though! 😉

🌳 HIKE + FOOD PAIRING 🇬🇷

I love combining our outings like this! Hiking and eating are 2 of my favorites.

📍 Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park, 12138 N Lamar Blvd, Austin
🥾 We did the short loop trail. We started at the playground and the trail was 1.25 miles long. It took us about an hour.
🛝 We also stayed and played at the playground both before and after the hike.

🇬🇷 @santorinicafe.atx is one of our favorite Greek restaurants! It’s 2 minutes from Walnut Creek and they have a cute dog/kid friendly patio with toys for the kids (mostly broken but my kids didn’t care). We love their authentic Greek food!

🚗 DAY TRIP TO MARBLE FALLS: STEAL OUR ITINERARY! 🤩

Spend a full weekend or even just a day and pack in all this fun while you’re at @visitmarblefalls 🙌

🥾 Start your blue sky day off with a crisp hike at @inkslakesp (you can camp here as well!)
We did the Devils Waterhole hike at Inks Lake. There are many different trails you can do here. It’s also a favorite for summer time swimming!

🍔Grab a tasty lunch and a beer at @double_horn_brewing and enjoy their patio! We tried the fried pickles, salad, wings, and hot honey chicken and everything was delicious! 😋

🍭 We had to explore the charming downtown area with stops in adorable shops like @mslollipopparties @houseofcheesemf and @choccolattestx 🍦Don’t forget to play some xylophones and add to the “Before I Die” Wall!

🎳 Next stop was bowling and mini golf at @putters.and.gutters ⛳️ They also have an arcade and go karts!

🍺 Relax with a beer while the kids play on the playground at @stwbrewing Save The World Brewing Co (bonus for those of you with Hops For Houses Passports: this one is a participating brewery!) we love the new playground they recently added (same designer as the one who made the playground for Meanwhile Brewing!)

Marble Falls is such a fun and easy getaway from Austin with so much for kids too!
