Goldfish Swim School for Swim Lessons in Austin

We recently tried Goldfish Swim School North West Hills and had the best experience ever! This is a really great spot for swim lessons in Austin. I couldn’t get over how CLEAN the facility was and how friendly everyone was too.

The inside is bright, cheerful, and welcoming, and my son loved his swim instructors. We have had terrible luck with other swim schools around town, so I was really pleasantly surprised with how well this one worked out!

Cool Features of Goldfish Swim School

We love all the special touches that Goldfish Swim School provides. Hair dryers, a swim suit dryer (what?! so cool!), bright and clean restrooms and changing rooms, a coloring table, a fish tank, and ribbons they give out after each class. They are so thoughtful and we love coming here. It can be hard to find good swim lessons in Austin, but our little kiddo agrees that we’ve finally found a good one.

If you’re like me and looking for swim lessons in Austin with clean facilities, friendly teachers, helpful amenities, and a positive, colorful environment that kids will love, then this may just be the spot for you and your family. Check it out!

There are different lessons for different age groups, from Mini lessons for your babies, up through Junior (beginner to intermediate), Glider (beginner to intermediate), Pro (intermediate to advanced), and a full-on swim team called Swim Force. They also have jump start clinics and clinics specifically for technique. They also host parties and safety presentations. So regardless of the ages or skill levels in your family, they seem to have something for everyone. It’s nice to have a pleasant one-stop-shop for swim lessons in Austin. Our little one was pretty picky until we found this place, and now he loves to swim, which makes the millions of trips to the pool over the summer so much more pleasant!

There’s so much for kids to do here! An entire kids section that has bouldering, a slide, a warped wall, ropes climbing/belay, and more!

I also love how welcoming they are towards kids in the adult section. My kids wanted to try some more challenging stuff out in the big area and they were encouraged to try it! There’s a helpful code system that has cute little animal faces to show the difficulty level. For example, my kids mostly stuck to the “Sloth” belays (the easiest ones).

@simar_atx is such an ideal place to eat out for families in Austin! Here’s why we love it:

🧸 Indoor/outdoor play area. Is it indoors? Is it outdoors? It’s both! 👏 Such a genius concept and I’ve never seen anything else like it. Perfect for patio season (right now!!!) but also hot weather or cold weather. It’s covered and indoors but also right off the patio so it’s sort of outside too? Whatever you call it, I think it’s perfect!! There’s so much to play with and it’s a large play area so even if it’s crowded there’s still plenty of room and lots to do!
🌮 Everything was delicious but my favorite hands down was the mini starter tacos 🤤
🪑 They have a gorgeous patio that’s covered so you can enjoy it almost year round.

@machisushiatx has all you can eat sushi! This is the perfect spot for a special dinner for your teens who never seem to get full (spoiler alert: they will finally be full lol!)
