π©πͺ WURSTFEST πΊ
Check out my tips for how to have the best @wurstfest in @visitnbtx
π Landa Park, 178 Landa Park Dr, New Braunfels
π
Nov 1-10 open daily!
β° Sat 11am-midnight, Sun 11am-10pm, Mon-Thurs 5-10pm, Fri 5-11pm
ποΈ Admission is FREE Mon-Thurs and after 3pm on 11/10
Tickets are $20-25 (cash only) KIDS 12 & UNDER ARE FREE!!!
πGet These Tips:
π Use the shuttle/Park & Ride to avoid parking hassles. The lots around the area are $20.
πͺ Catch the Alex Meixner Band (seriously you have to see them!!)
π‘ Definitely get the rides wristband ($30) if your kids are over 36β. There are around 8 rides (including the fun house), and they will want to repeat them. We did all except the upside down one).
π΅ Bring cash for the admission tickets. You can use credit once inside for drink tickets/food/ride wristbands. There are lots of ATMs outside the festival if you forget cash.
π Bags are allowed but will be checked. Doesnβt have to be clear bags. Strollers are fine.
π«No outside food or drinks allowed! Also no pets.
π© So many cute hats! All the merch is so fun. Thereβs a huge merch hall where you can shop.
πͺ If you want a good spot to watch the music, get there early and grab a table! It fills up quickly for the shows and youβll definitely need to set your pitcher of beer down somewhere. π
πΊ Speaking of beer, get the pitcher. That way you wonβt have to waste time getting more drink tickets or standing in line.
π₯¨ The food is amazing! Our favorites were the potato pancakes, chips, sausage sword things, funnel cake, kraut balls, and waffle. You can also get treats from @naegelinsbakery (the oldest bakery in Texas!)
ππΌ Dance the chicken dance and the Hokey Pokey with your kids! This was so much fun! The kids tent (Kinderhalle) also has a Bubble Show, puppet show, magic shows, and more!
πLook for the Grosse Opa (the designated Cheermeister) and he will give you a special pin!
π Bring ear protection for kids with sensitive ears (the music can get loud).
This is the best fall family friendly event and we canβt wait to go back! You have from now until Nov 10 to check it out (open daily!) Prost! #ad #wurstfest #visitnbtx
TheΒ Pumpkin Patch at Sweet Berry FarmΒ opens on September 21, 2024. This is a classic must-do Austin-area pumpkin patch that we have done almost every year. The nice thing is that parking and admission are free, so you only pay for what you actually want to do. Be warned: itβs very popular and can get very busy, especially on weekends! But itβs so big and there is so much to do, so that makes it worth the drive and braving the crowds. Remember they are closed Wednesdays! No pets allowed. Jogging strollers/wagons recommended. Open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. β 5:30 p.m. Sundays from 11 a.m. β 5 p.m. Closed on Wednesdays!
You can bring your own food, or The Pumpkin Grille is open from 10-4 on WEEKENDS ONLY in October. They serve hot dogs, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, pickles, chips, and drinks.
