Here are all the places around Austin where you can take photos with Santa. Some are free and other cost money, and some will require you to reserve your spot online before you go.

Santa on the Terrace

Santa’s headed back to the Long Center this year! Come one, come all November 30th from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Get a free photo with Santa at the Long Center! You do not need to reserve a time slot online, but keep in mind this is a first come, first served event. If they run out of photos, they will cut off the line. Best to get there early to guarantee a spot!

Austin Trail of Lights

Get a photo with Santa while experiencing the Trail of Lights! Open Dec 10-23, 2024. Select nights are free. Zilker Park.

Kids’ Brunch with Santa at Fairmont Austin

Treat the kids to a brunch buffet and holiday cookie decorating as St. Nick reads ’Twas the Night Before Christmas. Join us in our grand Congressional Ballroom and enjoy favorites like made-to-order breakfast tacos, gingerbread French toast and a special kid’s buffet. Photos with Santa is back this holiday season at Hill Country Galleria! Enjoy a magical experience that allows families to visit Santa inside his workshop and take their own photos for FREE. There will be no professional photographer on site, but families are welcome to use their own cameras to capture this magical moment. Open select days from November 30th through December 24th, Santa’s Workshop will be located indoors, next door to Buenos Aires Café. No reservation required.

Marble Falls Walkway of Lights: Santa Land

Get a picture with Santa at the Walkway of Lights in Marble Falls. They also have a walk-thru lights display ($2/person), ice skating rink, and more. Santa Land is open Fri-Sun from 6-10pm Nov 22-Jan 4.

Tree Lighting Ceremony in Cedar Park

On this magical night, join Cedar Park Parks and Recreation in the tradition of lighting the tree at Heritage Oak Park. Over 50,000 lights illuminate the largest live oak tree in Cedar Park. The holiday festivities include live music performances, holiday movie classics, food and sweet treats from local vendors, photo ops (bring your own camera), and Santa’s grand arrival to his sleigh. Create memories and ring in the season with holiday cheer! Dec 6 from 6:30-9 p.m.

Sweet Eats Fruit Farm

Santa is there taking pictures on weekends starting Nov 29-Dec 24 from 11am-5pm. You can also have Breakfast With Santa December 7th- December 24th (weekends) at 10am. Reserve tickets in advance.

Holiday in the Park & Craft Fair: Brushy Creek

FREE special holiday festival & craft fair to shop for gifts from local artisans. Meet Santa, train rides, inflatables, petting zoo, face painting, and more. Saturday, December 7th, 2024 from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Cat Hollow Park, 8320 O’Connor Road Round Rock TX. See website for event schedule.

Annual Georgetown Christmas Stroll

Enjoy FREE family-friendly fun at the 43rd Annual Christmas Stroll in the Historic Downtown Georgetown. Friday, December 6th: Let the Super Fun Begin! 4PM – 10PM Saturday December 7th: A Day of Heroic Fun! After the parade, dash over to the courthouse for a heroic photo with Super Santa! 10AM – 9:30PMSunday, December 8th: Super Sunday! 10AM – 4PM.

🥾 The experience is rain or shine and all outdoors so wear comfortable shoes that could get dirty!
⚡️Harry Potter costumes encouraged!
🛞 Bring wagons or jogging strollers (no umbrella strollers). Trail is made of stones.
🕰️ We spent 2 hours here total and at least 40 minutes of that was in the food area in the beginning and at the end. The trail itself took us about an hour and a half. We got refreshments before and after the trail.
🚽 The toilets are clean and like elevated portapotties. Best case scenario!

🤩Real talk/honest opinion: we absolutely loved this event! I read the entire series to my big boys a couple of years ago and we watched all the movies. It was magical to experience the Harry Potter world in this way. My youngest hasn’t read the books or seen the movies but he still had an excellent time casting spells and strolling through the forest. You can spend at the very least 2 hours here which makes it worth the price of tickets in my opinion. We love a good interactive experience and this one had plenty of opportunities for things like casting spells and greeting the characters. There are plenty of treats to add to the experience as well. Highly recommend!
