Here are all the places around Austin where you can take photos with Santa. Some are free, others cost money, and some will require you to reserve your spot online before you go. Either way, we gotta get those family Christmas pictures with Santa, so pound some milk and cookies and head out!

Santa on the Terrace

Santa’s headed back to the Long Center this year! Come one, come all, November 29, 2025 from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Get a free photo with Santa at the Long Center! You do not need to reserve a time slot online, but keep in mind this is a first come, first served event. If they run out of photos, they will cut off the line. Best to get there early to guarantee a spot!

Austin Trail of Lights

Get a photo with Santa while experiencing the Trail of Lights! Open Dec 10-23, 2025. Select nights are free. Zilker Park.

Santa on the Trail

See Santa on the Trail and get a photo for free! December 6, 2025 from 9-11 a.m. No reservations required. Holly Fishing Pier. Free parking is available at the Camacho Activity Center parking lot and along Jesse E. Segovia St.

They have multiple events with Santa, such as the VIP Event, Breakfast with Santa, and Family Fun Event.

Kids’ Brunch with Santa at Fairmont Austin

Treat the kids to a brunch buffet and holiday cookie decorating as St. Nick reads ’Twas the Night Before Christmas. Join Santa in the grand Congressional Ballroom and enjoy favorites like made-to-order breakfast tacos, gingerbread French toast, and a special kid’s buffet. Plus, families are invited to share in the spirit of the season by bringing new toy donations to support Dell Children’s Holiday Village. Suggested donations include new items suitable for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and adolescents. December 14 & 20, 2025 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. | $80 for adults | $35 for children 6-12.

Hill Country Galleria

Photos with Santa is back this holiday season at Hill Country Galleria! Enjoy a magical experience that allows families to visit Santa inside his workshop and take their own photos for FREE. There will be no professional photographer on site, but families are welcome to use their own cameras to capture this magical moment. Open select days from November 29 through December 24th, 2025 Santa’s Workshop will be located indoors, next door to Buenos Aires Café. No reservation required.

Marble Falls Walkway of Lights: Santa Land

Get a picture with Santa at the Walkway of Lights in Marble Falls, and maybe catch Mrs. Claus as well! They also have a walk-thru lights display ($2/person), ice skating rink, and more. Santa Land is open Fri-Sun from 6-10 p.m. Nov 21-Dec 21, 2025.

Tree Lighting Ceremony in Cedar Park

On this magical night, join Cedar Park Parks and Recreation in the tradition of lighting the tree at Heritage Oak Park. Over 50,000 lights illuminate the largest live oak tree in Cedar Park. The holiday festivities include live music performances, holiday movie classics, food and sweet treats from local vendors, photo ops (bring your own camera), and Santa’s grand arrival to his sleigh. Santa is there taking pictures on Nov 28, 29, 30, Dec 6, 7, 13, 14, 20-24, 2025 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Santa Claus is coming to Sweet Eats Adventure Farm! We will have a Santa every weekend, Black Friday & The week leading up to Christmas. You can take your own photos with Santa just by having a General Admission ticket which also grants you FULL ACCESS to over 30 different activities that are included. Sunday With Santa at Garey Park in Georgetown

On Nov 30, 2025 from 12:30-4 p.m. at Garey Park, 6450 RM 2243, Georgetown, TX 78628. Get your photo taken with Santa! $15 per child (ages 3-15). Must register online to secure your time slot. We will have a fun, festive atmosphere with light snacks, a “letter to Santa” craft where kiddos can draft, color and drop their letter into a magical mailbox that delivers straight to the North Pole, and Santa himself will be available for photos to commemorate this holiday season. Please bring your own camera for photos. Entry into Garey Park is included with registration.

Fairmont Austin Holiday Tree Lighting

Celebrate the season as Fairmont Austin lights up the holidays. Enjoy an evening of festive cheer and exclusive holiday previews at our complimentary annual Tree Lighting benefiting Dell Children’s Medical Center.
