The City of Round Rock’s Parks and Recreation Department presents the 12th annual Family Campout on Friday, Sept. 15th through Saturday, Sept. 16th at Old Settlers Park.
Come spend the night in Old Settlers Park! You’ll pop your tent around the Lakeview Pavilion, eat dinner, have fun, play games, sit around the campfire eating s’mores, watch a movie in the park and then off to sleep under the stars. Wake up with the sunrise and enjoy breakfast.
Registration for the campout is required. Registration fee will increase to $15 on September 1. Each registered participant will receive two meals (dinner on Friday evening and pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday morning, vegetarian option available upon early request), s’mores and a t-shirt.
Participants are responsible providing all of their own camping equipment, as well as setup and take down of tents.
What to Bring:
You will need to provide all of your own camping equipment. We recommend bringing:
Tent (participants are responsible for setup & take down of tents)
Sleeping bags
Flashlight
Reusable water bottle (water coolers will be available to fill bottles)
Insect repellent
Snacks and drinks (No alcohol or glass containers)
A chair or blanket for campfire and movie
No pets allowed. No electricity available. No shower facilities. Personal campfires are not allowed.
