Fresh, New Park Alert! Lakeline Park

Cedar Park just got a brand new park, and it is GORGEOUS! The playground has something for kids of all ages and the view of the lake is stunning—making it a perfect outdoor spot for both children and residents from Austin senior living communities to enjoy together. There’s also a trail that loops all the way around the lake. Check out all the things to love about Lakeline Park. The ribbon cutting ceremony is March 24 and the official opening date is March 25.

Phase 1

The park will be opening in Phases. Phase 1 features a brand new playground, kayak launch on the lake, fishing pier, 3 miles of trails, including a loop trail around the lake, multi-purpose pavilion for performing arts, covered pavilions with picnic tables near the playground, restrooms, and parking. It is free to enter the park.

Playground

The playground is huge and has several different sections. There are 3 zip lines!

There is a giant playscape for bigger kids.

There’s a smaller playscape for younger kids.

There are several ways to spin! A giant climbing “egg”, a smaller hard-shelled “egg”, a merry-go-round, and those little spinning chairs.

There are plenty of swings, including the kind two people can ride (like a parent with a baby).

There are also a few covered pavilions with tables in the playground area, perfect for a shady picnic or a birthday party.

The Lake

The lake has a trail that loops all the way around. It will also have a kayak launch.

The Pavilion

There is a big covered pavilion that will be used for events.

The Restrooms

There are restrooms and drinking fountains, including a water bottle filling station, near the playground.

Parking

There is plenty of parking close to the playground, and all around the park.

Wildflowers

There are multiple areas where wildflowers are growing all around the park!
