Winter Wanderland at the Austin Motel opens (TBD). So much fun to wander through the brightly decorated trees. Plus, it’s free!
Check out Santa’s Jingle House in Round Rock. They have a bunch of different holiday events like our favorite Elf Scavenger Hunts.

November 13-22
A Christmas Affair with the Junior League of Austin: The Junior League of Austin’s A Christmas Affair® is more than a marketplace. It’s a cherished holiday tradition that celebrates the warmth of community and the joy of generosity while raising critical funds that strengthen lives across Central Texas. A Christmas Affair® is The Junior League of Austin’s (JLA) signature holiday market and largest annual fundraiser. Featuring a curated selection of over 200 merchants and festive experiences, the event supports our mission to empower women and strengthen the Austin community.

Make a holiday engine at all Lowes stores for free. 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Nov 14, 2026.
November 29
Goat Shenanigans: Santa & Baby Goats is at Vista Brewing from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Nov 29, 2026. This event is 1 1/2 hours. You can come and go while grabbing food and drinks from Vista (purchased separately). Great for all ages, children must be supervised.
December 4
The Nutcracker returns to the Long Center Dec 4-23, 2026.
December 4-6
Annual Georgetown Christmas Stroll is at the Georgetown Square on Dec 4-6, 2026. This year, the Downtown Georgetown Association invites you to experience Hometown Christmas Stroll: A Season to Gather a warm and welcoming FREE family-friendly three-day celebration filled with twinkling lights, festive décor, holiday music, and timeless traditions.
Budafest is Dec 4-6, 2026. 3 days of holiday activities, a carnival at Buda City Park, a craft and art market in the Downtown Greenbelt and a dazzling Night Parade and Fireworks show along Main Street.
December 5
Make a holiday craft for free at the Kids DIY Workshop at all Home Depot stores from 9 a.m. – noon.
Christmas on Mercer is from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Dec 5, 2026.
December 6
Free admission to the Bullock Museum from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Dec 6, 2026. Deck the halls during a FREE day of holiday fun at the Bullock!
December 11
Jingle Bell Trail at The Savannah Trail in Sunset Valley from 5-9 p.m.
December 12
Make a holiday trolley car at all Lowes stores for free. 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Dec 12, 2026.
Holiday in the Park and Craft Fair at Cat Hollow Park is on Dec 12, 2026 from noon-3 p.m. Children can meet Santa, ride the train, jump on inflatables, and participate in holiday activities while you shop for gifts from local artisans! Free, all ages welcome. Brown Santa Donation Drop-Off– BROWN SANTA TOY DRIVE – bring an unwrapped toy to the large pavilion to support the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Brown Santa toy drive.
Grinch on the Green is on Dec 12, 2026 at La Verde Park in Kyle, TX. This Whobilation GRINCHY celebration is a free family-friendly event with something fun for everyone. Enjoy sweet treats, market vendors, live music, free photos with the one and only Grinch, a chalk graffiti station, carnival games, Grinch movie screenings, and more!

Family Day at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden is from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Free admission! Join the UMLAUF for a merry and bright Family Day! This free community event features an angelic dance performance, holiday crafts, and creative activities for the whole family.

Elf in Concert at the Long Center is Dec 15 & 16, 2026. Nobody spreads Christmas cheer quite like Buddy the Elf! This holiday season, the Butler Pops Series presents Elf in Concert, bringing the beloved holiday classic to the ASO stage at the Long Center.
