Pease Park in Austin

The treehouse, the playground, the chess board, everything there has a bit if whimsy to keep it special. It tops the list of places I recommend to anyone visiting Austin with kids.

The Splash Pad season is mid-May through September. The water is on between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Giant chess at Pease Park

Pease Park in Austin has several unique places to play. There’s a giant treehouse where you can hangout underneath or inside up above, looking out at the park below, relaxing on the giant net.

There’s a giant chess board under that shady trees. On some summer days, SnoRide will be set up near here, selling snow cones.
