@wurstfest is the most fun you and your family can have this weekend (and next!)

@wurstfest is a 2 week long festival in @visitnbtx that just opened last night!

📍 Landa Park, 178 Landa Park Dr, New Braunfels

📅 Nov 1-10 open daily!

⏰ Sat 11am-midnight, Sun 11am-10pm, Mon-Thurs 5-10pm, Fri 5-11pm

🎟️ Admission is FREE Mon-Thurs and after 3pm on 11/10
Tickets are $20-25 (cash only) KIDS 12 & UNDER ARE FREE!!!

👉Get These Tips:

🚗 Use the shuttle/Park & Ride to avoid parking hassles. The lots around the area are $20.
🪗 Catch the Alex Meixner Band (seriously you have to see them!!)
🎡 Definitely get the rides wristband ($30) if your kids are over 36”. There are around 8 rides (including the fun house), and they will want to repeat them. We did all except the upside down one).
💵 Bring cash for the admission tickets. You can use credit once inside for drink tickets/food/ride wristbands. There are lots of ATMs outside the festival if you forget cash.
🎒 Bags are allowed but will be checked. Doesn’t have to be clear bags. Strollers are fine.
🚫No outside food or drinks allowed! Also no pets.
🎩 So many cute hats! All the merch is so fun. There’s a huge merch hall where you can shop.
🪑 If you want a good spot to watch the music, get there early and grab a table! It fills up quickly for the shows and you’ll definitely need to set your pitcher of beer down somewhere. 😅
🍺 Speaking of beer, get the pitcher. That way you won’t have to waste time getting more drink tickets or standing in line.
🥨 The food is amazing! Our favorites were the potato pancakes, chips, sausage sword things, funnel cake, kraut balls, and waffle. You can also get treats from @naegelinsbakery (the oldest bakery in Texas!)
💃🏼 Dance the chicken dance and the Hokey Pokey with your kids! This was so much fun! The kids tent (Kinderhalle) also has a Bubble Show, puppet show, magic shows, and more!
😄Look for the Grosse Opa (the designated Cheermeister) and he will give you a special pin!

🚮 FAMILY VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITY 🌳

We love signing up for family volunteer days through @generationserve 🥰

🗑️ Trash pick up days are an all ages activity that combines picking up trash with hiking. We try to hike every Sunday, so this is a win-win for us!

🖥️Sign up on their website and when you arrive at the check-in, they will provide all the necessary equipment and tools you need (like trash bags, gloves, and grabbers).

🥾 Bull Creek is so low right now but still one of our family’s favorite hikes. We love to eat at @waterloo_austin after our hikes because of their playground and indoor arcade games.
