What is the Taste of Round Rock?

The Taste of Round Rock is a premier event that brings together dozens of the area’s top eateries. Sample each of the restaurants’ best dishes. It’s a community celebration of food! Attendees can taste bites from a wide range of cuisines, all under one roof. The event is typically held in the spring at the Round Rock Sports Center. Organized by the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce, it promotes local businesses and fosters community spirit.

Experiencing the Event

Upon entering the Taste of Round Rock, you’ll be greeted by the aromas of freshly prepared foods ranging from savory soul food and authentic Mexican tacos to gourmet pastries. The event offers something for every palate, including options for vegetarians and those with a sweet tooth.

Tips for Attendees

Come Hungry: There’s a lot to taste, so be sure to arrive with an appetite!
Plan Your Visits: Check out the event map and list of participants beforehand to strategize your tasting route. I accidentally got all desserts first, which would be have smarter to save for my second trip around. It’s also a good idea to head to the booths you want to try the most first, as some of the lines got super long and stayed long the whole night!
Stay Hydrated: With all that eating, it’s important to drink plenty of water throughout the event. Bring your own water bottles. You can purchase water there, but the line for that was extremely long. There are water fountains in the building if you forgot your bottle.
Pick up coupons/cards at each booth! Keep track of your favorite dishes and establishments so you can visit them later by grabbing their card or coupon. Most booths have cards with coupons you can use at a later date.
Bring a bag for all that swag! You will be given some free items, as well as possible prizes for spinning wheels. Bring a reusable grovery bag in with you to keep track of all those freebies!
Kids 10 and under are FREE and do not need a ticket!
