Winter Wanderland at the Austin Motel opens December 4, 2025. So much fun to wander through the brightly decorated trees. Plus, it’s free!
Check out Santa’s Jingle House in Round Rock. They have a bunch of different holiday events like our favorite Elf Scavenger Hunts.
Western Wonderland in Dripping Springs is open November 28, 2025 – January 4, 2026. Micro events info coming soon!
November 15
Make a letterbox at all Lowes stores for free. 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
November 22
Who-Liday Holiday Event at Domain Northside at 2 p.m. at The Lawn by Apple. Take photos with the Grinch and Max! Snow globe making, write letters to Santa, and more. PLUS, the official tree lighting will take place at 6:00 PM.🎄
November 29
Make a teddy bear ornament for free at all Home Depot stores. 9 a.m. – noon for their free kids DIY workshop.
Goat Shenanigans: Santa & Baby Goats is at Vista Brewing from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 12:30-2 p.m. This event is 1 1/2 hours. You can come and go while grabbing food and drinks from Vista (purchased separately). Great for all ages, children must be supervised. $10-16
Jolly Holiday Party at Meanwhile Brewing 12-5 p.m.
November 30
Goat Shenanigans: Santa & Baby Goats is at Vista Brewing from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. This event is 1 1/2 hours. You can come and go while grabbing food and drinks from Vista (purchased separately). Great for all ages, children must be supervised. $10-16

Lighted Christmas Parade in downtown Salado from 6-7 p.m.

Annual Georgetown Christmas Stroll is at the Georgetown Square from 4-9:30 p.m. Kick off the festivities with a super start – groovin’ with the Grinch!! Explore a wonderland of food and product vendors. Enjoy live music on the Main Stage and be enchanted by live Christmas carolers. Kids can unleash their superpowers in the Kids Zone while meeting their favorite Greater Austin Comic Con characters. Don’t miss story time, and fun activities, games and arts and crafts.
Budafest is Dec 5-7, 2025. Bring the whole family to Downtown Buda for 3 days of holiday cheer! With kids activities and a carnival at Buda City Park, a craft and art market in the Downtown Greenbelt and a dazzling Night Parade and Fireworks show along Main Street, there is plenty to do and see all weekend. Lighted Parade is Saturday, December 6 at 6:30 PM. Get your free picture with Santa under the iconic Downtown Gazebo.

Pfestival of Lights & Christmas Parade at 4 p.m. on Main Street in Downtown Pflugerville, 100 E. Main Street

Holiday Sing Along & Stroll is from 5-8 p.m. downtown Austin on Congress Avenue between 8th and 11th streets. Featuring artisan vendors, food trucks, photos with Santa and more, the Holiday Stroll is the perfect way to kick off your holiday season.

Free admission to the Bullock Museum from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Dec 7, 2025. Deck the halls during a FREE day of holiday fun at the Bullock! Create a sheet music ornament and join the Austin Philharmonic Orchestra at noon for a free holiday concert in the Bullock Grand Lobby! This all-volunteer community orchestra will play favorite festive tunes, including a Christmas sing-a-long and Hanukkah music.

Christmas Dreams and Snowy Things is from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Chasco Family YMCA in Round Rock. There will be “real snow” activities, a giant slide, games, interactive holiday booths, food, music, and more! This event is FREE to the public!
Holiday in the Park and Craft Fair at Cat Hollow Park from noon-3 p.m. Children can meet Santa, ride the train, jump on inflatables, and participate in holiday activities while you shop for gifts from local artisans! Free, all ages welcome.
Grinch on the Green is from 5:30-9 p.m. at La Verde Park in Kyle, TX. This Whobilation GRINCHY celebration is a free family-friendly event with something fun for everyone. Enjoy sweet treats, market vendors, live music, free photos with the one and only Grinch, a chalk graffiti station, carnival games, Grinch movie screenings, and more!

9th Annual Hippo Claus Crawl is from 6-9 p.m. in downtown Hutto. One of Hutto’s most anticipated events of the year, where over 20 festive beverage stops await in Downtown Hutto. Dress festive and get on the dance floor while the DJ plays, visit attractions, snap photos with Santa, and soak up the holiday spirit.
