Our TOP PICK for summer camp in Austin is THE THINKERY! My son did a Thinkery camp years ago and it was by far the best camp he has ever done. It was so much fun and learned so much too. My oldest son was very little at the time (5 years old), so I opted for a half day camp for him. He stayed at camp while my 3 year old and I explored the Thinkery each day, which was also amazing. It was fun to take our time and really stay and play at each section without feeling rushed or split between multiple kids. I could focus all my time and attention on my younger son while my oldest was off playing at camp.
