Indoor Fun That’s Free

Living Spaces Furniture Store in Pflugerville is not just a place to shop for furniture. It also has a giant playscape inside that is completely FREE! However, don’t forget to bring your own socks.

If your kids love fish, then Bass Pro Shops in Round Rock is a must-visit. They have a giant fish tank that kids love to visit! Afterward, you can bowl under the sea at Uncle Buck’s Fish Bowl (not free, but fun!).

For something a little different, check out Zookeeper Exotics. This fascinating place has all kinds of critters and even a real live sloth! It’s a unique experience that your kids will love.

For some indoor playtime, Brentwood Social House, Slackers Brewing Co, and Malone Coffee (Wells Branch) all have indoor play areas for kids. These places are perfect for a rainy day or when it’s too hot to play outside.

Outdoor Fun That’s Free

Austin has many great hiking trails for families to enjoy. Some of the best kid-friendly hiking trails in Austin include Mayfield Park, Barton Creek Greenbelt, and Ann & Roy Butler Hike & Bike Trail.
