Calling all fairy enthusiasts, tiny adventurers, and parents in need of a magical outing! The Woodland Faerie Trail at Zilker Botanical Garden is back and more enchanting than ever. From May 9 through July 18, 2026, this beloved Austin tradition invites families to explore a world of imagination.

Grand Opening Celebration is on May 9, 2026 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The trail will remain open daily through July 18, 2026.

There are THREE FREE DAYS at the Garden during the Faerie Trail! On May 25, June 21, and July 12, you can see the Zilker Botanical Garden (and the Woodland Faerie Trail FOR FREE!)
What Is The Woodland Faerie Trail?
The Woodland Faerie Trail features 100 handcrafted fairy homes, each designed by local families, artists, and community groups. These miniature masterpieces, constructed with natural materials, are scattered along a winding trail that promises discovery and delight at every turn.
