One Day Only: Gold-Themed Food, Rare Beers & Live Music
AUSTIN, Texas — Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden is celebrating 14 years on Rainey Street with a one-day 14K Gold Anniversary Party on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The free celebration features exclusive gold-themed food, 14 featured golden beers, a Golden Beer Flight, rare cellar beer pours, and live music throughout the day.
For one day only, guests can enjoy four limited-edition menu specials: the Gold Plated Pretzel topped with edible gold flakes and served with beer cheese and golden beer mustard, the Gilded Chicken Sausage, Golden Hushpuppies, and the Gold Velvet Twinkie. Specialty drinks, including the Gold Mimosa, round out the menu.
Live music will keep the celebration going all day with Rhinestone Radio (11 a.m.–2 p.m.), Grover Street Country Band (3–6 p.m.), and Kathleen Turner Overdrive (7:30–10:30 p.m.).
Since opening in 2012, Banger’s has become one of Austin’s premier beer destinations, known for its house-made sausages, extensive craft beer selection, live music, and welcoming beer garden atmosphere. The anniversary celebration is a thank-you to the guests, neighbors, and regulars who have made the past 14 years possible.
