Slick City Austin
Did you know that Austin is getting a Slick City?! We have been anxiously awaiting this place because we have loved visiting their other locations in the past. We can’t wait for North Austin and Round Rock to get Slick City Action Parks.
What is Slick City?
Slick City is an indoor slide park. You use mats and go down the slides on your belly. There are many different slides in varying levels of intensity. Some are easier and slower for little kids. Some get really high and fast for big kids. Adults are welcome too!
They also have games like dodgeball and basketball, a zip line, a little kid climbing/play area for ages 5 and under, an arcade, and more!
Explore Slick City’s park experience.
For families who gravitate toward active outings, this is one to keep on the radar. It could be especially appealing when the kids want something adventurous and the weather has ruled out the playground.
When will it open?
Right now, the website says the North Austin (Braker Lane) location will open in December 2026 and the Round Rock location will open early 2027.
Slick City Austin
As a mom of three kids with different ages and interests, I’m always looking for outings that can get everyone excited. An indoor park built around big slides is at big hit with all 3 of my kids!
Here’s what we know so far, plus the details to check before planning a visit.

Where Is Slick City Austin?
The planned location is 4501 W. Braker Lane, Suite C, Austin, TX 78759. Slick City announced its North Austin lease at this street address, and the state filing identifies the space as Braker Lane Crossing. Slick City’s Austin announcement.
Save the address for later, but check the opening announcement before heading over. A construction completion estimate does not necessarily mean a business is ready to welcome guests.
What Ages Is Slick City For?
The company’s general ticket information currently lists:
- Action Tickets: ages 4 and older, with access to the large slides.
- Junior Tickets: ages 3 and younger, for junior play areas rather than the large slides.
Austin’s attraction-specific rules will still matter. An age-eligible child may not feel comfortable with every slide, and families with toddlers should confirm the local junior-play setup before booking. Read Slick City’s ticket and age information.
My planning tip: show your kids the attraction photos first. Let the thrill seeker get excited, and give the more cautious kid a chance to ask questions without a line of people waiting behind them.

Slick City Austin Tickets, Socks and Waivers
Austin pricing has not been published in the location listing I reviewed. The brand’s general ticket page describes timed sessions, including 90-minute and 120-minute Action Tickets, with prices varying by location.
Participants need CitySocks. Everyone entering, including spectators, needs a waiver; a parent or legal guardian must complete it for guests under 18. See the general ticket and waiver requirements.
Once Austin booking opens, check the full family total, including socks and any extras, before choosing a session.
Before the visit, review the official safety information together and follow the posted rules for each attraction.
Will Slick City Austin Have Birthday Parties?
Slick City offers birthday celebrations and group events across its parks. Its party information describes event staff, party spaces and packages that vary by location. Explore Slick City’s party options.
Where is Slick City Round Rock?
Slick City Round Rock is currently projected for early 2027. Check the location name carefully when local ticket and party booking pages become available. View the official location list.
