Ballet Austin’s The Nutcracker

With the holidays just ahead, this December marks Ballet Austin’s 63rd annual production of The Nutcracker. The production will return to the Long Center for the Performing Arts with 15 performances from Friday, Dec. 5 to Tuesday, Dec. 23. This year marks a special milestone: the 25th anniversary of artistic director Stephen Mills and his beloved version of this iconic holiday classic.

With live accompaniment by the Austin Symphony Orchestra, more than 150 dancers and whimsical sets and costumes, this production is a cherished tradition for generations of Central Texans.
