The Grove in Austin

The Grove Signature Park is located at The Grove, a dynamic mixed-use community in Austin. Spanning several acres, the park offers a comprehensive range of amenities and activities. Boasting lush green spaces, fun-filled playground areas, sports facilities, and walkable paths, it has quickly become an ideal location for family outings, picnics, sports events, or just enjoying the great outdoors. There’s also a community market, liquor store, gift shop, salon, cycling and Pilates studios, restaurants, med spa, and more. It gives off Mueller-vibes, making it a very livable, walkable, entertaining community that you never need to leave!

There is a large and unique playground at the Grove with multiple playscapes and shady play areas. We love the little playhouse and the giant spider-like climbing tower. There’s also a balance beam/obstacle course area, a few slides, a tunnel, and more.

We love the Mueller-vibes we get from wandering around at The Grove. There’s a lake with fountains, shady tree-filled areas to relax at chairs and tables that overlook the lake, big open grass fields, and even an amphitheater. There are multiple walk/bike paths around the entire park as well.

There’s so much for kids to do here! An entire kids section that has bouldering, a slide, a warped wall, ropes climbing/belay, and more!

I also love how welcoming they are towards kids in the adult section. My kids wanted to try some more challenging stuff out in the big area and they were encouraged to try it! There’s a helpful code system that has cute little animal faces to show the difficulty level. For example, my kids mostly stuck to the “Sloth” belays (the easiest ones).

@simar_atx is such an ideal place to eat out for families in Austin! Here’s why we love it:

🧸 Indoor/outdoor play area. Is it indoors? Is it outdoors? It’s both! 👏 Such a genius concept and I’ve never seen anything else like it. Perfect for patio season (right now!!!) but also hot weather or cold weather. It’s covered and indoors but also right off the patio so it’s sort of outside too?
