Annual passes/ Memberships
- Sweet Eats Fruit Farm has an annual pass for $54-108/person, which pays for itself if you go at least 3 times. We love this farm- there’s so much to do! In addition, the pass also includes all their festivals and corn maze.
- Thinkery has a family membership for 4 people for $195. There are other levels depending on how many people you need to include.
- A Texas State Park Pass would be fun for the outdoorsy kid. Fourth graders and their families get in for free, but if you don’t have a fourth grader, this would be a fun way to encourage the whole family to get outside more.
- My kids love to climb and would get so much use out of a membership to a climbing gym like Austin Bouldering Project, Mesa Rim, or Crux Climbing Center.

- Austin Zoo membership for a year for the animal lover.
- Give them a membership to Urban Air or for unlimited jump time!
- My youngest would LOVE to get a membership to his favorite place, Pikopye’s Town. Lakeway offers memberships, Central and Lakeway both offer 10 Day Play Passes.
- Get an unlimited play membership from Little Land Play Gym for $39/child/month (or a family pass for $69/month). They have locations in Buda & Cedar Park.
- Catch Air is so much fun for kids ages toddlers-tweens! They also offer memberships if you plan to go frequently.
- Typhoon Texas offers Season Passes (and will most likely have a Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal on them)!
Fun Austin Experience Gifts For Kids: One-Time Experience
- Take the kids to the COOLEST Museum they will ever experience: The Austin Museum of Ice Cream!
- Speaking of ice cream, take your kids on an “ice cream tour” of Austin and hit up all the best local ice cream shops like Lick, Amy’s, Dolce Neve, Cold Cookie Co, Jeni’s, The Yard, Tiny’s, Scoop & Score, and Austin Scoops. You could do this with any other dessert or food, like cookies, snow cones, or even pizza.
- Try a virtual experience at Sandbox VR. Groups as big as 6 can all play together and choose from one of their unique games for about an hour.
- Have a tea party at Rivery Coffeehouse in Georgetown. Melissa makes it extra special for you by having it all set up when you arrive. You get to choose 2 different flavors of tea and they bring out loads of homemade pastries and goodies to eat. It’s such a special and unique gift! My tea-loving 12 year old son LOVED this experience.
- Get tickets for the Sherwood Forest Faire, which comes to town (just outside of Austin) in March.

- Lake Travis ZipLine has a gift giving option that allows the receiver to book their own day/time, valid for a 3 hour zipline tour with access to 5 different ziplines.
- Retro Boats Austin lets you take a retro boat out on Lady Bird Lake. Cruise around in style (they go slow and our boys love taking turns steering the boats).
- Austin Flyboard allows you to fly out on the water at Lake Travis. There isn’t an easy online gift giving option, so you would have to book this and pre-pay for them.
- K1 Speed gift cards are available for the race car fans or just kids who like to go fast!
- Pinballz Lake Creek has an indoor go-kart track, arcade games, laser tag, bumper cars, an escape room, and more! Plan a fun day out or purchase a gift card.
- Kalahari Resort has day passes available if you don’t want to spend the night. Take the kids for a day of water slides and splashing at America’s largest indoor waterpark.
- Tom Foolerys at Kalahari is fun all on its own, if you don’t want to add the waterpark option. Bowling, a ropes course, amusement park rides, arcade games, an escape room, laser tag, and more!
- Cidercade has all-you-can-play arcade games for only $12 admission! This would make such a fun White Elephant gift or Secret Santa gift where the gift limit is only $12. You could bump up the gift card amount if you’d like to treat them to one of their yummy pizzas (or dessert pizzas) as well.
- Drive-thru Safari tours always make everyone laugh! We loved this one in Johnson City!
- Explore a cave and gift a tour at Inner Space Cavern.
- Top Golf is a fun outing for the whole family.
- Indigo Play or Mt Playmore are great places to take the kids when it’s too rainy, cold, or hot to play outside.
Fun Austin Experience Gifts For Kids: One time Experience
- I took my little artist to a mommy and me date at Painting With A Twist one time where we painted coordinating Mom & Baby Panda paintings and they turned out so cute! This makes such a fun one-on-one date.
- Movie gift cards would be the perfect tween or teen gift. Kids don’t really hang out at the mall anymore these days like we did when I was 12, but I’m sure they’d love to go see a movie with their friends.
- Let them try an escape room that’s just for kids at the Scholarship. The Escape Game also has a fun one for kids called The Playground!
- Dart ‘Em Up has so many special deals happening now. It would be so fun to gift your kid a fun afternoon of running around with a few of their friends here.
- Hang out at Splash Shack for the day, a smaller and less overwhelming version of Kalahari.

- Sur La Table occasionally offers cooking classes for kids, usually over summer or winter break. My kids love cooking and baking shows and would enjoy getting to learn from the pros!
- Foodie Kids is a great gift option for any food-loving aspiring chefs out there. They offer gift certificates for their classes.
- Golf lessons from Top Golf.
- Ninja classes from Austin Ninjas or Ninja Nation. In other words, training for American Ninja Warrior Junior!
- Is you kids interested in music? Give them a new instrument for the holidays along with music lessons at School of Rock! They offer lessons and camps for guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and vocals.
