H Mart in Austin is Indoor Fun For Kids
Don’t sleep on H Mart! H Mart in Austin is full of indoor fun for kids, like an arcade, a toy shop, a bakery, rolled ice cream, and a food court. Our kids had a great time exploring H Mart!
Games and Toys
The first thing we saw when we entered was the arcade wall. The kids were thrilled and stopped to play the games right away.
Then we saw the above mural. Such a great photo-op!
There’s an adorable little toy shop down the same hallway as the arcade games. You can find unique little treasures inside! There’s also a salon right next door should you find yourself in need of a quick trim!
Food Court
Perhaps the most exciting thing here is the food court! There are many different types of food and there’s surely something for everyone to enjoy. Challenge your kids to try something new! My kids went safe and ordered what they knew, but they ended up eating all of what my husband and I ordered (stuff they’d never heard of before but wanted to try after seeing us eating it).
There’s also a stage inside the food court. We weren’t there for a live performance but would love to go back and see one sometime!
Desserts
The desserts are plentiful here. The bakery cases have impressive cookies, cakes, and pastires. There’s also a rolled ice cream counter!
I loved seeing all the random, quirky things like the Blinds store. Where else can you go for groceries, a haircut, and buy blinds all in one place?
Grocery Store
There’s a full Asian grocery store inside as well. Challenge your kids to pick out one new-to-them fruit or veggie to try at home!
