Hairy Man Festival 2025: The Ultimate Family Guide
Looking for a fall festival that’s big on family fun and light on stress? The Hairy Man Festival is back for its 31st year at Cat Hollow Park—and it’s one of our favorite ways to spend a crisp October day with kids. Expect live music, crafts, carnival games, costume fun, and the legendary Hairiest Man contest that wraps the day with lots of laughs.

Tips
- Arrive a bit early to find (free street) parking so you don’t have to walk as far.
- Bring a stroller or wagon for the kids
- Bring donations for the Serving Center (canned goods or $2 per person)
- Pick a meeting spot near the main stage for easy regrouping after rides or face painting.
- Take a picture of your kids before you go so you remember what they are wearing in case you get separated.
