This cute little German spot in Georgetown is great for kids! There’s an indoor restaurant, a fun patio, live music, and a little indoor arcade. Oktoberfest is from September 20 – October 26, 2024 every Friday and Saturday night from 6-10:30 p.m.

They have 4 stages showcasing live music, arts, crafts, shopping, a children’s area, beer, food, and wine. Oktoberfest takes place at Marktplatz in downtown Fredericksburg on October 4-6, 2024.

German Texas Heritage Society

Oktoberfest at GTHS is on October 12, 2024 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. This family friendly event offers a lot of kids activities, live music, and more. $15 per person. Kids under 12 are free.

Deutschen Pfest

Pflugerville’s most popular pfestival, the Deutschen Pfest is held every year in Pfluger Park. The pfestival schedule is always bursting with pfun with live music, food, beer, shopping, Pfun Run and Community Pfair! October 18 & 19, 2024. Admission is $10-15. No outside food, no pets, no cash, no onsite parking. There’s an entire area dedicated to children.

There’s a helpful code system that has cute little animal faces to show the difficulty level. For example, my kids mostly stuck to the “Sloth” belays (the easiest ones).
