Judy Moody & Stink: The Holly Joliday
This is by far the most kid-friendly holiday play out there this year! It’s so cute and heart-warming and even end with a surprise snowfall at the end! Such a delight! It’s at the Scottish Rite Theater every Saturday and Sunday through Dec 22. Showtimes are 11 a.m. & 1 p.m. They will even give the kids a coloring sheet & crayons and let them sit on the floor up front! And you can stay after to meet the cast!
Ballet Austin’s The Nutcracker
A cherished Austin tradition, Ballet Austin’s The Nutcracker is a must-see holiday performance. Featuring stunning choreography, magical sets, and Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, this family-friendly ballet is perfect for kicking off the holiday season.

The Paramount: A Charlie Brown Christmas
Join the Austin Chamber Music Center for a live concert of all of your favorite tunes from the holiday classic! Celebrate the season with the original Charlie Brown music of Vince Guaraldi featuring pianist Michelle Schumann, bassist Utah Hamrick, drummer David Sierra, and other special guests including Snoopy! Bring your family to this Austin tradition and get in the holiday spirit! $11 parking available at the 600 Congress parking garage. Entrance at 155 W 7th St. There is a Clear Bag Policy for all events at the Paramount and State Theatres. Showtimes are at noon, 3:30 p.m., and 7 p.m. on Dec 7, 2024.

Hometown Holiday Shows 2024
We’re celebrating the winter season in Round Rock with live music events five nights a week, on Tuesdays-Saturdays, from December 3-December 21, 2024! FREE performances on an East Main Street parklet or at the Prete Plaza stage, amidst the twinkling seasonal lighting in Downtown Round Rock.
Holiday Concert at Central Market

Monday Dec 23, 2024 at noon at the Texas Capitol Grounds, 1100 Congress Ave. Austin, Tx 78701. Attend a free performance of tubas playing Christmas songs.
Theatre
ZACH Theatre’s A Christmas Carol
ZACH Theatre puts a fun, Austin-inspired spin on the classic tale of A Christmas Carol. Featuring live music, colorful costumes, and an interactive twist, this performance is a great way to enjoy a beloved holiday story with a modern touch. We went last year and were blown away! We love the concept of incorporating modern music and dancing.
