1. The Hive
The Hive is a great spot for coffee play dates! There’s a huge backyard patio with lots of space for the kids to run around and play. They have a big open space, lots of play houses, and cool structures with slides. There are plenty of food options and of course coffee as well.
2. Easy Tiger S Lamar
Easy Tiger’s south location has a little play space for kids. There’s a tunnel to brawl in and some yard games. Yummy pastries and coffee as well!

3. Meanwhile Brewing
Meanwhile isn’t just beer! They serve coffee as well. You can’t beat this shady tree covered patio either. The only food they serve is from food trucks with one serving breakfast tacos if you come hungry.
4. Brentwood Social House
We love Brentwood any time of the year! They have both an indoor and outdoor play space for kids, so come when it’s raining or sunny or cold- whenever! They have great food and coffee as well.
5. Malone Specialty Coffee
Malone has a small indoor play space for kids with a chalk wall and a play kitchen. This tiny area actually occupied my son for a full hour!
6. Merit Coffee at the Triangle
The Triangle has a shared playground for all of the shops and restaurants in the area. Grab a coffee and walk down to the playground (across from Jeni’s Ice Creams).
7. Littlefield’s
Littlefield’s has a grassy play space for kids with blocks and hula hoops. They serve Fleet Coffee, Veracruz tacos, and SnoRide snowcones.
8. Almost Grown Play Cafe
Almost Grown has a fun play area for kids and a cafe if you need a caffeine boost.
9. Tot Box Play Cafe
The new Tot Box Play Cafe recently opened in Round Rock and has the cutest little space for babies and toddlers. They also have a coffee shop with drinks and food! The perfect mom-friend date spot! Reserve a spot online and don’t forget your socks!
10. Winston’s
We adore this new coffee shop/restaurant with a playground out in Lakeway! Winston’s is the perfect spot to start your day with coffee or end your day with homemade pizza.
11. Barretts Too (formerly Double Trouble)
This coffee/taco spot has a gorgeous patio with the coolest play area for kids! We love the tunnel and the turf at Double Trouble!
12. Family Barn (Georgetown)
This little cafe has an indoor play area that’s great for babies & toddlers! Reserve a spot online and don’t forget your socks!
13. Way South Food Truck Park (Manchaca)
This food truck park has a coffee truck and a playground!
14. Progress Coffee (Buda)
The Progress Coffee Buda location has a huge patio, half is covered, and there’s a playscape for kids!
15. Fairlane Coffee (Dripping Springs)
This cocktail bar/coffee shop has a stunning patio with plenty of space for the kids to run around and play!
16. Flitch Coffee
Flitch has great coffee and also breakfast tacos from the Pueblo Viejo food truck! There’s a small play area with trucks and toys.

20. Kerbey Lane Cafe (Round Rock and Westlake)
Both the Round Rock and Westlake locations have playgrounds. While this is more dining restaurant than coffee shop, you can certainly just grab a coffee with a friend here while the kids play!
21. Lazarus Brewing Co (Airport Blvd)
We had the best time at this coffee shop/brewery! They have a really cool pirate ship playground, plus coffee, beer, and tacos. They will occasionally have kids story times, so check their website/facebook page/instagram for updates.

Super cool rocket ship playground, plus coffee drinks, cocktails/mocktails, food & more. Charming patio next to the playground making it easy to watch the kids.
26. SquareRut Kava Bar
Turfed patio out front with a playground. Plus coffee drinks, gelato, juice, and more!
27. La Dosis Coffee & Cocktails
This funky little cafe has the magical bouncy treenets in the back!
28. Slackers Brewing Co
Slackers is the best of both worlds! They now open at 8 a.m. daily (closed Mondays) and have both an indoor play area AND an outdoor patio/play area! It’s one of the old Fortlandia forts (Mars Base).
29. Kyoko Coffee: Austin’s Cutest Coffee
This adorable little coffee truck shares the space with a subs truck and donut truck as well. There is an old Fortlandia fort (Shell Yeah) in the common area for kids to play on.
