Family & Toddler Yoga With ATX Yoga Girl on September 5th and September 19th at 10 a.m. at the Wildflower Center, 4801 La Crosse Ave, Austin
Funbox, the world’s largest bounce park, opens on September 8 from 9:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and will be up for the next 12 weeks! Open Fridays-Sundays, a 90 minute jump is $22 (but it’s only $12 for opening weekend).
Friday Fun Nights at Yonders Point is on September 8 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Old Settlers Park, 3103 Aten Loop. $10 Sausage Plate that will include: a drink, sausage wrap, side, bag of chips, and dessert! All proceeds go to the People & Parks Fund which gets returned to you through improving out parks and outdoor spaces in Round Rock.

Oita Japan Summer Festival is Sept 10 from 11 a.m. โ 4 p.m. $10-15 This family-friendly event is a vibrant celebration of Japanese culture, eagerly inviting Austin locals to partake in the festivities.
Free Toddler Yoga // Pease Park (FREE) with ATX Yoga Girl is on Sept 13th and Sept 27th at Pease Park at 10 a.m. 1100 Kingsbury St, Austin
Family Campout 2023 is on September 15 at 4 p.m. at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. Bring your camping gear and the whole family out for a night of games, sโmores, a movie in the park, sleep under the stars, and breakfast the next day. Registration for the campout is required. Registration fee is $10 and will increase to $15 on September 1. Each registered participant will receive two meals (dinner on Friday, breakfast on Saturday), sโmores and a t-shirt. Touch-A-Truck is a fun-filled event where kids of all ages get the chance to touch, explore, and climb on just about any vehicle they can imagine. Round Rock Pumpkin Festival is open daily from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. (CLOSED TUESDAYS) from October 7-29, 2023 at Old Settler Park, 3300 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock. Fall Festival, Food, Funnel Cakes, Face Painting, Games, and 100 thousand pounds of pumpkins.
They may best be known for their Christmas trees, but Evergreen Farms also has a Pumpkin Hunt every year. From October 7-29, 2023 you can buy pumpkins and enjoy activities such as a zip line, mazes, a train ride, pumpkin launcher, and more. Admission and parking are free and each activity is $3.50. Fridays 1-5 p.m. Saturdays from 10 a.m. โ 5 p.m. and Sundays from 1-5 p.m.
Boo at the Zoo will be October 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 & 28, 2023 at 5:45 p.m. Come in costume, ride the haunted train, explore the haunted house, and see the animals at night! Bring flashlights!
Another Christmas tree farm in Elgin that also has a pumpkin patch is Elgin Christmas Tree Farm. 120 Natures Way, Elgin. Their fall fun festival runs weekends in October (starting Oct 7th) from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Itโs $10 admission for ages 2 and up and activities are $2 each once you enter.

Pflugervilleโs most popular pfestival, the Deutschen Pfest is held every year in Pfluger Park. The pfestival schedule is always bursting with pfun with live music, food, beer, shopping, Pfun Run and Community Pfair! October 20-22, 2023. Admission is $10-15. No outside food, no pets, no cash, no onsite parking. Thereโs an entire area dedicated to children.

Viva La Vida Fest is Oct 28 from 12-6 p.m. Mexic-Arte Museumโs 40th Annual Viva La Vida Festival and Parade is Austinโs largest and longest-running Dรญa de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) event. Co-presented by theย Austin Convention Centerย and the City of Austin, this yearโs festival will take place on Saturday, October 28 at 4th Street and Congress Avenue.

Local Tejana florist Yliana Lara will transform the Moody Amphitheater stage into a community โofrenda,โ or altar, where visitors are invited to place images and decorations that honor their families and friends who have passed.
